There is currently some discussion on the mailing list what the Pragmatic Web (vision) actually is and how it relates to other ideas and communities such as the Semantic Web or the Language Action Perspective (LAP).
Hopefully this fruitful discussion will culminate in a comprehensive overview, either in a paper or a wiki page. Everyone is encouraged to contribute here

As suggested in the closing discussion session of PragWeb2006, a PragmaticWeb mailing list (hosted in Hohenheim) is in preparation as well as a community Wiki. All conference participants will be individually invited as soon as possible.

Thereby this website will gradually be extended to serve as a community platform – some photos from the conference are provided already.

Yesterday evening, the first Best Paper Award was presented Iain Duncan Stalker and Nikolay Mehandjiev from the University of Manchester for their innovative paper “A Devolved Ontology Model for the Pragmatic Web”.
